Recreational Events:

Winter Dance is open to 6-8th grade boys and girls living in Brielle and Manasquan.  The event is held at the Brielle Fire House.

Build a Snowman Contest is open to all Brielle residents.  Submissions are due at Borough Hall on March 15th.  Prizes are awarded.

Easter Egg Hunt is open to all children up to the age of 10. It is held at Brielle Park on the Saturday before Palm Sunday.  Over 2800 eggs are distributed in four categories.  They are: Mommy and Me, Up to 4, 5-7 and 8-10.  Admission is free and usually there is a guest appearance by the Easter Bunny. 

Baseball Clinic is held in early April by Rick Trimble published author and Coach of the game for ages 5 and up. There is a nominal  registration fee.

Summer Recreation is open to Brielle Children who have completed Kindergarten and are entering 1st Grade.  Activities include trips, arts and crafts, board games, and athletic events to name a few.  Sign up is in May and early June and the program last for 6 weeks.

Fishing Trip on the Jamaica for fluke is held in August.  Prices are discounted to all that participate and prizes are awarded from the Recreation Commission. 

Brielle Day Dash is open to all children from the age of 2-10.  It is held the night before Brielle Day in front of the School.  Each participant receives a T-shirt, number and ribbon.  Registration is in August at Borough Hall.

Halloween Parade is the Sunday before Halloween.  It departs from the Elementary School and proceeds to the Firehouse. Entertainment and contests are at the Firehouse.

Christmas Tree Lighting is held at Brielle Park on the first Sunday of December.  Event includes school chorus, refreshments and a visit from Santa.

Sports Programs Youth: 

Flag Football program is open to boys and girls that are Brielle residents in 1st- 8th grade.  Games are played in September- October at Brielle Park.  Sign ups are in July and early August. 

Biddy Basketball program is open to children residing in Brielle from the grades of 1st-8th.   Games are played each week for ten weeks. 1st and 2nd grade level is set up as an instructional clinic style.  Grades 3rd – 8th, play other Brielle and Manasquan teams in their level. Sign up is in November. 

Biddy T-ball is open to Brielle children that are 4-5 years of age by September 30th of that year.  Children will be introduced to basic fundamentals of the game. Games are on Sundays for six weeks starting in May.

Soccer is open to Brielle children ages 4-7 in the Spring.  Games are on Saturday mornings starting the end of April.

High School Basketball Open Gym  

Sports Programs Adults: 

Coed Volleyball League is open for adults from late September – Mid May.  Registration is set up for teams, but at times single players can be placed on a team.  Levels of play are from beginner/ recreational – highly competitive. Prizes are awarded to the winners.  Sign up begins in August.

Bus Trips:

Broadway Play bus trips happen throughout the year.  Trips have included Hairspray, Jersey Boys, and Titanic to name a few.  They are advertised on the Borough Marquee, Coast Star and on this website.

Christmas in New York is a bus trip that you set the agenda for the day. Bus leaves at 9:00AM and returns to Brielle around 7:00 PM. The bus drops off at the South Street Seaport.
